Check Your Crape Myrtles for Scale This Season
Check your crape myrtles. Scale has been very dominant this year on crape myrtle trees. You will notice white powdery mildew and black trunk.
Today we cut back this Crape Myrtle to remove a majority of damaged wood and crop the top. Then we scrubbed the tree free and clear of all mildew and scale before apply a horticultural oil on it to help kill the scale and return tree to healthy state.
