Check your crape myrtles. Scale has been very dominant this year on crape myrtle trees. You will notice white powdery mildew and black trunk.
Today we cut back this Crape Myrtle to remove a majority of damaged wood and crop the top. Then we scrubbed the tree free and clear of all mildew and scale before apply a horticultural oil on it to help kill the scale and return tree to healthy state.
If you have a tree in need of attention give us a call we would be happy to evaluate it for you.
Check out 3 of our new 30’ Hoop houses we have been working on for winter growing. Farming doesn’t stop just because its cold we just move indoors. We are excited to continue to grow with our amazing customers next year. And check out the view from the top of the hill of our pond.
